European Center for Quality Ltd. (ECQ) held a national multiplier event under the project YOUthCOOPs: Promoting social and cooperative entrepreneurship for young people (Ref. No 2018-2-ES02-KA205-011519). Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 pandemic, there wasn’t an opportunity to do the multiplier event as it was planned in the project. Therefore, on 16th of December 2020, ECQ organised the event online, by using the Microsoft Teams application.

The event was attended by a total of 27 participants who were predominantly students, young people that have a business idea, young entrepreneurs, experts working with young people, and other interested parties in Bulgaria.

The main aim of the initiative was to present and promote the final project results to the broad public in Bulgaria. Also, during the webinar ECQ’s experts took the chance to introduce project partners, their tasks, and the implemented project activities – project meetings, training activities and the final intellectual outputs – YouthCoops Learning Modules & YouthCoops Open Learning Portal.

After the presentations, the participants were invited to take part in a workshop, during which the YouthCoops online portal: (http://www.youthcoops.eu/open-learning-portal/) and the training course was presented and discussed in more detail. The event ended with evaluation session and discussion about the Erasmus+ programme and it’s opportunities for young people.

In addition, ECQ produced a number of tangible dissemination materials with regards to ensuring long-lasting memory of the project and the event. After the event, each participant received via post YouthCoops t-shirt and bag.

In the light of the evaluation questionnaires results, it could be argued that the YouthCoops multiplier event in Bulgaria has served its purpose – to raise the interest towards the YouthCoops project products and to attract the interest of potential users such as aspiring young social entrepreneurs, and youth workers to use the YouthCoops social entrepreneurship programme in their daily practices. Both, the formal and the informal feedback regarding the event and the project results were highly positive, therefore it could be concluded that the event was really a success.
