WHATtoDOif project awarded with Quality Mark by the Bulgarian National Agency

The project “Effective guidance for successful integration of foreign communities through language acquisition – WHATtoDOif” (ref. No 2019-1-BG01-KA204-062401) has been awarded with Quality Mark during the Annual Valorization Conference of the Bulgarian National Agency: „35 years ERASMUS Program – 1987-2022“. Projects receiving this prestigious award have distinguished themselves by their impact, contribution to policy-making, innovative results or creative approach and can serve as a source of inspiration for others. WHATtoDOif project is coordinated by European Center for Quality Ltd, Bulgaria and unites a team of international partners – PELICAN from the Czech Republic, SYNTHESIS from Cyprus, INNOVAMENTIS from Italy, FRAME form Poland and The Mosaic Art and Sound from the UK. The general aim of WHATtoDOif project is to help newly-arrived foreigners, migrants and refugees to get oriented in the host-country economic, education, social and other systems, thus preventing their social exclusion or heavy dependency on their ethnic community. The project stipulates the elaboration of five major intellectual outputs: Migrants Info & Glossary Compass, Solutions map, Language Package, Video tutorials, Web Repository and Mobile application. The conference „35 years ERASMUS Program – 1987-2022“ was a large-scale event gathering 70 participants at the Sheraton Hotel Sofia on 9th December, 2022. The event was opened by Mr Mihail Balabanov, Executive Director of the Human Resources Development Center, Erasmus+ National Agency in Bulgaria. Special speeches were held by Mrs Nadya Mladenova, Deputy Minister of Education and Science and Mr Petar Georgiev Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport.

During the morning session a discussion panel related to the overall implementation of the Erasmus+ Programme took place. Via a moderated online platform all participants were involved in the discussion by posing questions and voting for their relevance. In the afternoon the awarding ceremony was held and the most successful projects received public recognition for their achievements. The conference also offered a great opportunity for networking through engaging the participants in various practical workshops and art ateliers. It was an inspiring and energizing event!
