One of the two 2REVIVE project small-scale conferences in Bulgaria took place on the 5th of December, 2019 in Sofia! 2REVIVE project – “Revival entrepreneurship through second chance”, ref. № 2017-1-PL01-KA202-038525 is implemented under the Erasmus+ programme, Cooperation and innovation for good practices (KA 2).
The event was organized by one of the project partners based in Bulgaria – European Center for Quality Ltd /http://ecq-bg.com/ which is a consultancy firm founded in Sofia in 2001. The approximately 30 guests attending were second-time entrepreneurs, successful owners/managers of SMEs, representatives of (c)VET institutions and organisations, consultancy firms, mentors, freelancers, universities, students who wish to start their own business and other stakeholders.
During the first part of the conference, the participants were acquainted with the overall project objectives, main results achieved and four intellectual outputs developed within the 2REVIVE project. During the presentations, ECQ’s representatives stressed on how target groups’ representatives can apply and transfer the project results in their specific work contexts. The second part of the event consisted of a practical workshop including several sessions named “To turn failure into a SUPERPOWER” and “The bright side of failure” with practical exercises for group work, networking, transferring knowledge and storytelling along with a quiz. A guest of the conference who was also a subject of a success story written as part of the project’s produced intellectual outputs shared her initial professional failure and consequent successful venture with the participants in order to motivate and inspire them to not give up on their business ideas.
The final session of the event involved discussions, awarding of certificates along with project promotional materials and other small prizes to the attendees as well as evaluation of the conference. After that, guests were invited to a networking cocktail to continue with their discussions and exchanging of contacts.
