ESTET - Fifth Transnational Partner Meeting and Final Conference in Warsaw, Poland 30th November -01st December, 2022
On the 30th November was held the last transnational partner meeting for the project ESTET in Warsaw, Poland. Consortium partners discussed the remaining activities, the finalisation of the project, including dissemination and exploitation activities, quality assurance and financial matters. On the following day, 01st December in SAN premises was held the Final conference of the project ESTET “Embedding Sustainability Skills in Tourism Education and Training”. Many people from the project target groups attended the event as well as various tourism professionals and stakeholders. After the presentation of the project materials and resources was organised a panel discussion on how to integrate knowledge and skills in the field of sustainable development into vocational training programs and daily practices of tourism enterprises. Tourism experts including scientists from leading Polish universities and representatives of the tourism industry presented the currently used solutions and discussed possible future directions of development towards more sustainable tourism. As part of the conference were organised also workshops during which the attendants were actively involved in various activities and open discussions. The host of the events was Społeczna Akademia Nauk Warszawa who is the also the ESTET project coordinator.
