The kick-off meeting of the B2Gs project took place on 28-29 February 2024 in Zagreb, Croatia. It was hosted by Sportsko učilište PESG, an adult education institution with experience in implementing programs for the acquisition of secondary education for children focused on sports and the development of professional sports careers. Representatives of all partner institutions attended the meeting and contributed actively to the discussions and work planning.
Main topics at the meeting were the activities within WP2 Research and selection of the content about the sports, games and DIY green activities. Currently the partners are conducting surveys among pupils and students in schools in the 6 partner countries, a minimum of 15 surveys should be collected in each country. The aim of the survey is to establish the most popular and preferable sports and games. Along with the surveys partners are conducting a desk research and interviews with sport experts (at least 5 in each partner country). Based on the research findings the partners will develop the learning objectives for the B2Gs learning materials. The preliminary selected learning objectives will be consulted and validated with the external pool of sport experts in each partner country. These activities will be completed by the end of March.
