European Center for Quality Ltd hosted the national event of the I-Career Project on 5 July 2024 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The event welcomed 18 stakeholders from educational fields, including VET schools, high schools and associations, along with representatives of the business.
I-Career Presentation
The meeting began by engaging participants in an icebreaker exercise and welcome coffee, followed by an overview of the projects’ objectives, partners and target groups as well as the conducted pilot testing in Bulgaria. The main results and corresponding activities throughout the project lifecycle were described in detail, covering:
- National surveys and interviews in partners countries resulting in a report for the development of I-Career business and education tool to verify the competence gaps of students on the labour market
- I-Career didactic methodology
- Comprehensive overview of each of the 20 course modules in Results 3
- I-Career online platform
 Practical Session
The program continued with an interactive practical demonstration of the course exercises. Participants enjoyed the variety of practical and group exercises designed to enhance personal and professional skills, such as self-development, time management, critical thinking, and job application skills.
The event concluded with a feedback session and cocktail reception where stakeholders exchanged contacts and ideas. The participants’ interest in further exploring the course materials and eagerness to register to the online platform were a strong indicator of the I-Career course’s value.
