Within the DEESME 2050 project, SMEs in the furniture sector were invited to reflect on how energy is used in their operations and the extent to which energy efficiency is prioritised in daily activities.
Across the participating countries, we conducted energy audits and/or the implementation of Energy Management Systems (EMS) in line with ISO 50001, highlighting existing energy efficiency measures and areas for improvement.
These activities were carried out in the 4 pilot countries: Bulgaria, France, Italy and Poland. This provided valuable insights at both national and cross-country level.
